This recipe is a long-running attempt at recreating one of the best old fashioned I've ever had at Kefi in Knoxville Tennessee!

100 ml Woodford Reserve Bourbon

Any good bourbon works

25 ml Water

15 ml Demerara Syrup

1:1 demerara sugar and water. Add up to 5 ml more if you like it sweeter

5 Dashes Angostura Bitters

3 Dashes Orange Bitters

Instructions

Prepare Glasses

Add a large ice cube to each of two lowball glasses

Add Ingredients

Add all ingredients to a separate mixing glass with ice, and stir for about 30 seconds until chilled and mixed

Combine

Strain the cocktail evenly over the large ice cubes and drink!
