This pasta recipe is one of my favorite go-to recipes that is easy to make, healthy, filling, and can last for a good piece of a week! You can choose to enhance it as much as you want, from as a simple as pasta with store-made sauce to your own home-made tomato sauce. It works with any choice of meat (although I prefer chicken or pork sausage), and you can mix and match the vegetables in the sauce as much as you want to fit your needs!

Ingredients

Servings

6

1 Bottle (32oz) Rao's Roasted Garlic Sauce

32 oz Canned Crushed Tomatoes

1 Whole White Onion

1 Head Garlic

1 Bunch Cilantro

2 Pounds Ground Chicken

1 Pound Pasta Noodles (Any Type)

2 Tbsp Garlic Powder

2 Tsp Black Pepper

1 Tbsp Shallot/Onion Powder

Instructions

1

Heat Tomato Sauce in Pot

Pour all of the pasta sauce, the can of crushed tomatoes, and all of the dry spices into a pot, set the heat to low, and let it simmer while cooking.
2

Dice Onions & Garlic

Dice the onions and garlic into small pieces and place them into a frying pan on low heat. Let them fully cook down until they are sautéed and soft (about 15-20 minutes)
3

Sautee Ground Chicken

While the onions are sautéing, prepare a second frying pan and cook the chicken on medium-high heat.
4

Boil Pasta

Boil a larger pot of water and add the pasta noodles. Follow the instructions on the packet for exact cooking time, but it should be around 10 minutes
