1 Pound Chicken Thigh

1 Bunch Scallions

2 Tsp Sesame Oil

1/2 Cup Soy Sauce

1/4 Cup Water

1/4 Cup Rice Vinegar

2 Tbsp Honey

2 Tbsp Brown Sugar

1 Tbsp Garlic Powder

Instructions

1

Chop, Dry, and Sear Chicken

5m
Chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces and pat it dry with a paper towel.

Heat the sesame oil in a large pan over medium-high heat and sear the chicken until browned on the outside but not fully cooked through (about 5 minutes). Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
2

Prepare Sauce

5m
In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, water, rice vinegar, honey, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.

Pour the sauce into the same pan and simmer on medium heat, stirring, until it thickens and coats a spoon (about 3-5 minutes).
3

Finish the Chicken

5m
Add the chicken back into the pan and simmer in the sauce, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and glazed (about 5 minutes).
4

Garnish and Serve

Thinly slice the scallions. Serve the chicken over rice, garnished with sesame seeds and scallions.
